FBS/MASA Upgrade Schedule
Thank you for trusting FBS software to manage your farms and businesses. Our developers have beenverybusy in 2020, and we want to share some highlights and new opportunities for FBS customers and MASA owners.
Dr. Martin Traviolia and his All-American team have been working remotely since March and have enlisted an off-shore firm to help with their ambitious project to thoroughly modernize the FBS integrated software platform.
The FBS "All American" Development Team--Michael, Donald, Martin, David, and Greg--continue to work remotely to upgrade your FBS/MASA software.
You've already received the "first fruits' of their efforts expressed in Version 11.4, which include a refreshed user interface on the center and various crop setup screens and significant "under-the-hood" code and database changes to make your software more expandable, flexible, and compatible.
Version 11.5 will be arriving in Quarter 4 of this year for MASA members and in Quarter 1 of 2021 for all current FBS users. This upgrade will convert additional accounting and feeding setup screens to the new user interface and open database format.
In Quarter 4 MASA members will also have access to a synchronized cloud-based SQL Server plus an API (Application Programing Interface) that will connect with allied vendors and third-party reporting tools, dashboards, and business intelligence systems such as Microsoft Power BI. (See graphic below.)
In Quarter 2 of 2021 FBS users and MASA owners will receiveVersion 11.6, which will feature a full .NET version ofTransAction Plus.
Version 11.7, to be released to in 2021 Quarter 4, will contain .NET versions ofCrop Audit,Smart Feeder andLifeCycle Budget.
You will have three options for maintaining your software license:
Wait and pay for your Version 11.6/11.7 upgrades in May at 2021 prices.
Lock in your Version 11.6/11.7 upgrades by December 31 at 2020 prices.
Here's the latest update on trade shows in 2021. Note that some have been cancelled, some converted to virtual, some rescheduled and a few still on schedule. Stay tuned!

A. Yes we do! We are building up our training materials again. We've put up the Powerpoints and some training videos from our most recent User Conference for you to view.
